Party Hosts & Leads 

Want to work, party, and play all at the same time? NEST is looking for people who love interacting with children, have an upbeat attitude, and enjoy giving great customer service. Here at NEST, we host birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and any other reason to party!
 
Weekends are required for this position. Experience and/or education in this field is preferred.
 
PARTY HOST
Party Hosting at NEST consists of but is not limited to:
·      Set-up and breakdown of all parties
·      Interacting with & entertaining parents and children
·      Reporting to birthday party coordinator
 
PARTY LEADS
Party Leads are responsible for above plus MUST have experience working with children 1- 6 years old in an educational and/or party setting. Leads will have a talent for working with kids, know how to interact with them and their parents/family, and get them to engage in activities. Party leads will be the leader of the party and facilitator of activities.

Pay Rate: $15-$18/hr

Skills such as singing, playing an instrument, gymnastic or tumbling background, balloon twisting, face painting, etc are a plus!

 

 

Sports Instructor

NEST is looking to grow it's sports program and we hope you're the instructor for us! If you love children, sports, and have a flair for the wild and wonderful you might be exactly what we're looking for! Candidates for our lead sports teacher position should have strong coaching skills, the ability to quickly learn new games and models to keep up with our ever changing themes, have a flexible morning schedule, and, most of all, a love of children and all that they do! While a background in children's athletics is helpful, NEST's sports program is a blend of kid friendly activities, focusing on games EVERYONE can enjoy-meaning there's more than one way to teach a class!  We welcome canidates with a versital background - the only must we insist on is a love of kiddos!  You bring the passion, we'll provide the whistle!  

Pay Rate: $30-40/hr


Programming Interns

Looking for somewhere to complete your CO-OP, intership requirements or for school credit? Want to work in a hands-on, fun, rewarding environment? Work along side our Programming Manager as a part-time intern!
 
Focused on nurturing, creative stimulation, we hold all types of classes from music, sports, movement, gymnastics, cooking, dance, and many more! We also have an Enrichment Program, which are discussion-based classes from 6 weeks to Pre-School Bound! We have the best classes in the Center City area, and NEST Center City will enrich your life at the same time as you enrich others!
 
Programming at NEST may include, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting in Enrichment and Development Classes
  • Interacting with Parents and Children
  • Setting up classrooms
  • Prepping crafts and creating new ideas for classes
  • Potentially creating and assisting in a NEW exciting class!
  • Report to Programs Manager and work with Program Developer
  • Potential to turn into a paid position
